Dr. Anita Dalimata

Dr. Dalimata
20+ years of veterinary experience

La Paws is a locally owned, independently operated business. It was born from compassion for families who choose to say goodbye to their beloved pets in the comfort of their own homes and nurtured by a desire to help owners at this difficult time and ensure mercy for their pets. When you call or text, Dr. Dalimata will respond, personally, in a timely manner.

Dr. Dalimata has 20+ years of veterinary experience, primarily as an emergency veterinarian but she also enjoyed being a family veterinarian for several years. Her mission is to provide this important service to families in a peaceful, dignified and loving manner. She strives to make the process simple and comfortable both for the owner and the pet. She welcomes questions, tries to calm fears and takes pride in providing honest and clear communication.

Outside of Work

She loves to garden, collect cool rocks, read excellent fiction, golf poorly, cook experimentally, eat with enthusiasm and spend time with her family and three cats: Augustus, Leonidas and Felix James. She works with the loving memory of Taz, Elvis, Dakota, Ezekial, Pepper, Doodadd, Friskie, Tuffy and every barn cat and pet chicken she knew as a child, close to her heart.

Leonidas, Felix and James
